Linux under Eclipse Configuration python environment

1. Install Pydev:

Because Ubuntu has already installed Python for us, we don't have to install Python like a user in Windows and configure the environment.

Select Help>install new software directly under Eclipse and click Add

Pick a name in the Name field, such as Pydev, and enter http://pydev.org/updates/in the Address bar link. Then, click Ok.

Select the Python package you need and install it.

2. Configuration

Open window, click Preferences, expand Left Pydev, click Interpreters>>python Interpreter, select the right new,interpreter name to name it Python, Interpreter executable Bar Click Browse ..., find/usr/bin/python, then OK
