Steps to implement Java programming with Eclipse

1. Create a Java project;
2. Create a package;
3. Write Java source program;
4. Run Java programs;

Installation and configuration of Eclipse

After the installation of Eclipse is complete, let's configure it as follows:

1. To open eclipse preferences, we need to configure eclipse:

2. Select Installed JREs below Java from the left sidebar and click the Add button to configure the JDK for Eclipse:

3. Select "Standard VM" and click "Next" button:

4. In the Add JRE interface, click the "Directory" button at the back of the JRE home to select the home folder path when installing the JDK (refer to the Mac how to install steps 5th and 6 in the JDK):

5. Enter the name of the JRE (for example: Jre1_8) and click the "Finish" button:

6. Tick the new JRE and click on the Apply button in the lower right corner to apply the configuration:

7. In the left column, under General workspace, make sure the code is UTF-8, click Apply application configuration (if you see the default encoding is UTF-8, then you can ignore it):

8. Search for "spelling" at the top of the left-hand column and find the option to cancel the spell check after spelling (because Eclipse's spell checker is more mentally retarded):

Now we have finished the eclipse configuration!
