Computer viruses have some basic characteristics. These basic characteristics mainly refer to infectious, destructive, and prank viruses. These are the basic features of common viruses, the most important feature of the next generation of viruses is the ability to change their own code and shapes to combat virus deformation.
The main characteristics of a deformed virus are that the code and structure of the virus vary in space and time after the virus is infected to the target. The ability to change a virus is divided into four categories:
1. Basic Features of common viruses. However, after each target is infected with a virus, its own code is almost the same as the virus code in the previous infected target. However, these codes do not change their location in space. It is called a one-dimensional deformation virus.
2. Apart from the characteristics of one-dimensional deformation viruses, the permutation distance (relative space location) between the changed codes also changes, and the number of bytes of some infected files may vary. It is called a two-dimensional deformation virus.
3. It has the characteristics of a two-dimensional deformation virus, and can be hidden in several places after the split. Any child virus that is triggered can recover itself into a complete virus. The Space Location of the virus on the attachment is changed, that is, the hidden location is not fixed. For example, some of them may be hidden in the primary boot area of the first machine's hard disk, and other parts may also be hidden in executable files, overwrite files, or in the system boot area, it is also possible to open up a hidden area. In the next infected machine, the virus changes its hidden location. It is called 3D deformation virus.
4. It has the characteristics of 3D deformation viruses, and these features change dynamically over time. For example, in the infected machine, the virus changes to a pattern in the memory when it is started, and then changes to another pattern after a while, after the device is restarted, the virus looks different in the memory. This is called four-dimensional deformation virus.
At present, the deformation virus has developed into one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional, and four-dimensional deformation viruses will inevitably emerge. That is to say, the virus is mainly developing in the direction of anti-virus measures.
