According to ElevenPaths, Telefonica security team, a telecommunications company that has long been concerned about Android app credibility, Forbes magazine and Spanish intelligence providers, they have observed two Bible-based apps in the Google App Store-The bibulle Questions and Bible FAQs-have malicious programs. Researchers Adolfo Lorenz said they have discovered that attackers repackaged images from the clean Bible application, added malware, and uploaded them to the store again.

The Quran APP is also shot.

ElevenPaths does mention malware in some Quran applications, such as Holy Quran Go Locker Tema, uQuran-Understand Quran, and The Amazing Quran. Adolfo Lorenz also indicates:

"We even found some radical malicious advertisements in the app store about the qur'an and the Bible ."
