MySQL Error: Unable to connect because the target computer is actively rejecting

MySQL is deployed on a virtual machine, when using Dbforge Studio for MySQL to connect MySQL, the following error is reported:

Can ' t connect to MYSQL server on ' *.*.*.* ' (10061);

Unable to connect because the target computer is actively rejecting. *.*.*.*:3306

Cause: IP is bound in the Mysql configuration file and can only be accessed by localhost

FIX: Change bind-address=localhost in configuration file/etc/mysql/my.cnf to Bind-address = virtual machine actual IP
