I recently learned how to use axis2 to develop Web Services. I have seen many Tutorials that I have mentioned how to use the axis2 plug-in. I downloaded the latest version of the plug-in from the Apache website. After installation, there is no corresponding interface in eclipse, so I tried it with different combinations. The results are as follows:
OS: win7 Chinese Version
Axis2 plug-in version
Axis2-eclipse-codegen-plugin-1.5.4
Axis2-eclipse-service-plugin-1.5.4
JDK: 1.4 and 1.5. The default value is 1.5.
Eclipse decompress the RAR package downloaded from the official website. Except for axis2, no other plug-ins are installed.
Eclipse 3.1, without the axis2 interface;
Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers 3.6.1, with the axis2 Interface
Eclipse-reporting-helios-SR2-win32 with axis2 Interface
Conclusion: after installing the axis2 plug-in, if there is no interface in eclipse, change to an eclipse version.
BTW: Install the axis plug-in eclipse, which copies the JAR file to the eclipse_home \ dropins directory instead of the Plugins directory. However, copying the JAR file to the Plugins directory is also useful.
