Node trust error caused by excessive rac _/home/oracle Permissions
Background: RAC Oracle 11.2.0.4, a database exists, and a new database is created on this basis.
Problem:
When dbca creates a database, the trust relationship between nodes fails, which means that cluster data cannot be created.
The procedure is as follows:
At the beginning, I tried to reconfigure the trust relationship between the two nodes, but the problem remained.
We can see this phenomenon:
Node 1 cannot complete the trust relationship;
Node 2 can complete the trust relationship;
Then, we can find some prompts through this error prompt. The error message "0777 for…" is displayed... Are too open, it is recomeded that ...", This may be related to permissions. It has been confirmed subsequently.
Later, I was prompted by the younger brother to tell me that on node 1 of the two nodes, the/home/oracle permission is 777, while on node 2, the permission is 700. Is it because Node 1 has a high permission?
With doubts, we changed the/home/oracle directory permission on the node to 700, and then performed trust relationship authentication. The problem was solved. Create a new database.
To communicate with another colleague, the default permission for/home/oracle is 600, in this case, the excessive permissions may be caused by some bad habits that place excessive directory permissions, Which is unknown. However, this issue is indeed caused by excessive permissions.
