Ogg uses integrated capture mode with caution on Oracle database 11.2.0.3

Reason:
OGG Integrated Extract abend with Ora-01341:logminer out-of-memory (document ID 1640076.1)

Symptoms

The integrated extract abend with the following error
Error OGG-02077 Extract encountered a read error in the Asyncronous reader thread and is abending:error code 1341, error Message:ora-01341:logminer out-of-memory.

Cause

The problem is often encountered after the database were upgraded to 11.2.0.3.

The issue is due to database bug 16747736

Solution

No Workarounds available
Increasing the max_sga_size to a high value would delay the time of getting hit with the issue but won ' t totally fix it.

The database bug fix is included in the 11.2.0.4 database patch set.
Please reach the RDBMS team in case if you want to get a one off for 11.2.0.3 DB version.
