1. Start the Oracle database:

To switch to an Oracle User:

[Email protected] ~]# su-oracle

Entering the Sqlplus environment, the Nolog parameter indicates no login:

[Email protected] ~]$ Sqlplus/nolog

Log in in Administrator mode:

[Email protected] ~]$ Sqlplus/as SYSDBA

Sql*plus:release 11.2.0.3.0 Production on Fri Apr 17 10:13:07 2015

Connected.

Start the database

Sql> Startup

Stopping the database

sql> shutdown Immediate

2, database monitoring:

Start the Monitoring service

[Email protected] ~]# su-oracle

[[email protected] ~]$ lsnrctl start

Stop monitoring Service

[[email protected] ~]$ Lsnrctl stop

Viewing the Listening status

[Email protected] ~]$ lsnrctl status
