After several years of death in Oracle, I am familiar with different books. Many of my friends asked me to recommend some Oracle books. I will share my views below.
In fact, at different stages, different books will have different influences on you, depending on what you need and what you can accept at this stage.
No matter what kind of books, this stage can improve you most, it is a good book. I think I should buy a good book. It is more convenient to take notes and flip pages, and I can respect the author. So I usually see a good ebook, even after reading it, I will also buy it back.
The books of the original foreign version are relatively expensive. Some of them talk about OWI wait events, and the index is also better. We will recommend them later.
The following are Chinese books that I think are worth recommending.
From the perspective of Oracle databases, the mass data solution written by a South Korean Buddy abstracts the essence of database access data, which is worth noting. Quantitative changes lead to qualitative changes. In the case of massive data volumes, you must pay attention to a lot of things that you don't usually pay attention.
Although there are some things about the school, the topic about storage and cloud computing is completely thorough. After reading this, you will find that you have relived the network model.
Laruence's Linux is of course an essential entry level for Linux. It is detailed, but it is a bit cool.
"Teach you how to become a 10 gOCP" is also a Chinese out-of-the-box book that talks about the nature of Oracle, such as auditing, buffer cache is better than many books. The author is an OCP Lecturer in Oracle.
ORACLE Performance Diagnosis art, written by a fellow in Switzerland, may not be a tuning book for your entry, but it will inevitably grow with your tuning skills, you will find that you need to flip this book from time to time and understand it more and more.
Analysis of High-performance SQL engine: This is a work that has been proven to be tough for ten years. I think it is indeed a good reference for tuning, the introduction of each operation in the execution plan and each consumption are detailed.
"PLSQL from entry to mastery" is a good PLSQL book, which is much better than those of Tsinghua Publishing House. It is a thing for database developers.
Some of these books are not recommended to readers.
In the top-right corner of the three books, published by Tsinghua University Press, the white-skin and red-letter are translated by google, which is not smooth and obscure. It is recommended that readers do not buy the Tsinghua University Press.
Think-twice notes are relatively biased and cannot be used as reference manuals, but they can be used for reference when you want to import, export, or migrate data to a project or task.
I have read a lot of books from the old guy (guobiao). To be honest, the book is more famous than the book content. In addition to some cases that can be used to extract various scenarios, it is not necessarily so practical. In addition, the layout and editing of some books are too casual.
Let Oracle run faster. This book is a beginner and is suitable for beginners. However, if you have studied this book, you will not be able to read it.
In the past, I asked people what books are best. Others would say they are online documents. In fact, it is not necessarily true that the online documentation is the product manual, which means how you use it, rather than how it is constructed. In addition, Oracle is good at building a concept. It was originally a simple pile of things that had been built up by it, such as scanning in RAC. Those who have studied it deeply will surely feel that the online documents cannot meet their needs. What's more, Oracle sometimes doesn't want you to understand that it is a closed-source product.
