To make a remark, we should try not to use for update when we use PLSQL developer to modify the table. To modify the table, now the development is not a person, the same table may be several people in use, for update is a table-level lock, it is easy to lock the table, with rowID better, rowID is a row level and only locks the line you are currently working on.
