My database (asm storage) is upgraded from 11.1 to 11.2.
This function must be upgraded to 11.2 only when the delay section is created today.
Check whether my instance's compatible is 11.1.0.0.0. Naturally, I think of alter systerm set compatible = '11. 2.0.0.0 'scope = spfile, but the current spfile cannot be modified, so modify pfile.
SQL> create pfile = '/tmp/pfile' from memory;
Then, modify the compatible = '11. 2.0.0.0 'and _ compression_compatibility = '11. 2.0.0.0' of/tmp/pfile '.
Start the database with pfile:
SQL> startup mount pfile = '/tmp/pfile'
Normally, the parameter is changed to 11.2.0.0.0. Generate a spfile.
SQL> create spfile from pfile;
SQL> startup force
Error: ORA-00201: control file version 11.2.0.0.0 incompatible with Oracle version 11.1.0.0.0
It seems that spfile is still not correct. After pfile is started,
SQL> create spfile from memory;
SQL> startup force
This time it started normally, but the spfile was changed to not point to the spfile stored in asm.
Modify the spfile.
SQL> create spfile from pfile;
SQL> create spfile = '+ DATA/hzocs/spfilehzocs. ora' from memory;
SQL> startup force
This time it started normally, and spfile also points to the spfile stored in asm.
