The return value of the Cin.peek () function in C + + is a char character, the return value is the current character pointed to by the pointer, but it is only observed, the pointer stays at the current position, and does not move back. If the character you are accessing is a file terminator, the function value is EOF (-1); A character is read from the input stream, but the character is not removed from the input stream, and if the input stream is compared to a stack class, the Peek function here is equivalent to the stack's member function top, and cin.get () is equivalent to the stack's member function pop ()
