If the character you are accessing is a file terminator, the function value is EOF (-1); A character is read from the input stream, but the character is not removed from the input stream, and if the input stream is compared to a stack class, the Peek function here is equivalent to the stack's member function top, and cin.get () is equivalent to the stack's member function pop ()
