Things in this world are generally easier to destroy than to create, pick up problems than to find ways, and speak out more easily than to suggest.
I went to Shanghai's first financial company last month to film "who is the angel in love?" And met Hu Jian, a wonderful sister-in-law. The program was sold with cute costumes, and it was a great pleasure to tease the big-brother mentor. She has been doing a Chinese wedding for seven years, with love, persistence, persistence, and perfectionist. There is always a return. As a small company with less than 10 people, last year's profit was very good.
After the program was broadcast, some people spoke on Weibo, saying that the public acceptance of Chinese-style weddings was limited and the market was not expected to be so large. Therefore, Hu's paper was very depressed and complained to me.
Most of us have heard the story of a shoot salesman. Two Shoes went to an original Island and a salesman left with disappointment because he found that the indigenous people on the island did not wear shoes, another salesman was excited because he found that the indigenous people were not wearing shoes.
We have seen such a story before, and most people will think it makes sense, but once we hear it, we will not feel any connection with our real world. In the second half of the year, Liu Bin, founder of Yi Cha, asked me a question, which shocked me:
What would you do if a seemingly unreliable task was not made by you?
This sentence is a problem on the surface. It is actually a kind of mentality, a kind of constructive and positive mentality.
So I will ask the friend on Weibo: If you are Hu Jian and want to make the market bigger, what would you do?
Some may ask, "do you mean you can find a way in everything in the world? Is there anything unreliable in the world ?"
Of course not!
Entrepreneurial ideas in this world are unreliable. Because most failed entrepreneurial projects are trying to solve "pseudo-demand" and have no requirements, they are seeking for fish in any mode or means. Hu Jian's project is clearly not a pseudo demand, because she has already had hundreds of customers each year, creating millions of net profits. It is in the "verified feasibility" direction.
So our question is not "whether someone will accept a Chinese wedding" or "whether a Chinese wedding company can make money",:
1. Although less than 3% of new people now accept Chinese weddings, is it possible to improve in the future? How can I improve it? Change the product or promotion method? Or both?
2. Even if only 3% of people can accept Chinese weddings, can we increase our market share and increase the net profits contributed by every new person to the company? If so, what is the method?
3. How can this company build competitive barriers?
Two weeks ago, I had a chat with Hu Jian for three or four hours. These questions have generally been answered in a direction.
For investors, there was less competition in the past, but it was a "pick" case. Now the competition is getting increasingly fierce, and it is a "dig" case. It will become more and more difficult to hold high positions, pick up three challenges, and fight against the negative mentality. The value of investors is more and more to use their own knowledge, experience and insights, enable entrepreneurs with ideals, abilities, and enthusiasm to have more possibilities for success. Positive energy creates value.
