This tutorial describes how to create cloud and smoke effects. The author introduces two common methods. I. cloud creation:

1. create a document of the proper size, press the letter "D", restore the background color to the default black and white, and then execute: filter> rendering> cloud, as shown in.



2. select menu: Select> color range, set the color tolerance to 40, and then select the white cloud part, as shown in.



3. press Ctrl + Shift + I to select the selected area and press Delete to Delete parts other than the cloud to get the cloud we want.

II. smoke effect production:

Create a document of the proper size and fill the background with black. Create a new layer, select the paint brush tool, and use the splash brush to paint the effect shown.
