Describe
The uniform () method randomly generates the next real number, which is within the [x, Y] range.
Grammar
The following is the syntax for the uniform () method:
Import Randomrandom.uniform (x, y)
Note:uniform () is not directly accessible, you need to import the random module, and then call the method through the random static object.
Parameters
- X--The minimum value of the random number.
- Y--the maximum value of the random number.
return value
Returns a floating-point number.
Instance
The following shows an example of using the uniform () method:
#!/usr/bin/python3import Randomprint ("Uniform (5, 10) random floating point number:", Random.uniform (5)) Print ("Uniform (7, 14) Random floating-point number: ", Random.uniform (7, 14))
When the above instance is run, the output is:
Random floating point number of uniform (5, 10): Random floating point number of 7.054602800254241uniform (7, 14): 12.552229882744296
