After a few days of delay, the ticket pressure may not be reported, and all expenses in the project have to be paid, seriously affecting work mood. It should be noted that it is normal to have no cash in finance, and of course it is not completely absent. We still need to leave some expenses to cope with daily expenses, it depends on the financial mood.

For another scenario.

The difference between a project manager and an old employee's project manager during resource coordination is obvious.

Why can't the PM properly coordinate resources. Because he is not familiar with his colleagues, his team will be very supportive of him, while others are not necessarily. People only follow the rules for you, which may not affect your work, but will not push your work.

The Project Manager of an old employee is familiar with all Department personnel, and the boss trusts him very much. In this way, the handling work will be smooth. For example, as mentioned above, the cashier will help you post a ticket and then get the boss for you. The boss is confident in the project manager and the cashier, you can directly sign the signature. When the project manager returns for a business trip, he can receive the money, which is much more efficient.

Here is another example.

The project is nearing completion. All functions are almost finished, and the project completion progress is also marked as 90%. The project manager knows that the subsequent repairs and supplements will take a lot of time for testing and adjustment. The company's project management is incomplete, and many hidden things cannot be revealed. At this time, the customer puts forward some new requirements and is eager to complete them.

If you tell the boss that it will take three more months to work now, the boss certainly does not agree, because it has completed 90%, the rest of the work has not been processed in two weeks, and it is inevitable that it will be increased by three months. If you tell the customer that there is really no energy for new features, the customer will say that it will not be accepted if it is not done.

No one dares to offend the project manager. The project manager understands the key issues, but does not know how to persuade others. You only need to stick your head down. As a result, the project was postponed, the quality was reduced, and the project was barely accepted. There were still a lot of problems. The most important reason is the increased work intensity, working overtime, and the passion of team members. After the project is over, a large number of Members leave the company.

 

If the project manager has another idea. First, instill in the team members "half a 90" in the industry. The more complex and trivial the team members are, the more they cannot relax. Maintain the enthusiasm of members as much as possible. On the one hand, explain the situation to the company and explain the specific causes of the problem through the project management knowledge, especially the project ending management. There are still many things to do, either after the code is written or after the project is finished. In a word, it is wise to explain the truth and actively apply for resources from the company, especially to extend the project time ).

On the other hand, we should communicate with the customer manager and even private banquets to promote our feelings. Put some new functions into project operation and maintenance as much as possible, or implement them in Project Phase II. A young project manager and an old project manager have different styles when dealing with these things. As in the previous example, the customer manager is generally not too young. in his thirties, the project manager is too young and experienced, it is not easy to communicate with each other on an equal footing. Even if he understands the truth, it is difficult for others to support their work.

In this case, you have a clear scope of influence, but your influence cannot be limited to the team itself.
