RedHat 5 configure xmanager (xdm ):

The difference between rhel5 and RHEL4 is that there is no/etc/X11/mcm/directory in rhel5, And the configuration file of rhel5 is put here/usr/share/TPD/ults. comf, which may be a problem for everyone.

Make sure the following configurations are available in/usr/share/TPD/defaults. conf:

Enable = True
Displaysperhost = 10
Port = 177

Change the default level to 5 in the/etc/inittab:

Add the following sentence to the file:
X: 5: respawn:/usr/sbin/TPD

Then restart the system. Then run the xbrowser in xmanager on Windows.Program

Run the Graphical Database Management Interface command: dbca

To solve the garbled problem after running dbca, you need to set the environment variable:

Export nls_lang = american_america.utf8
Export lang = en_US.UTF-8
