Windows's default notepad tool is too simple. It only has some simple functions. It is very difficult for developers to use NotePad to view the source code of webpages.

1. in Windows XP/2003, I can directly replace the file under/system32 with this notepad.exe file. However, after the system is restarted, the old notepad will be restored. The reason is that there is a hidden system32/dllcache directory, and there are also the same name files that will automatically refresh the current directory, and you can also replace notepad.exe with this directory at the same time. Enter "C:/Windows/system32/dllcache" in the "run" directory, and then replace it. In this way, the restart will be okay.
2. in Windows 2000, Datong Xiaoyi only enters the C:/winnt/system32/dllcache directory.
When you replace a file with the same name in the dllcache directory, the system will pop up a dialog box telling you that the system and sequence are replaced, which may be unstable and requires you to insert the installation disk to restore the old file. You don't need to worry about it because you just need to copy it back with the backed up old notepad when you want to recover it.
Then, open it in "start"-"attachment"-"Notepad.
