SNMP protocol installation and obtaining computer parameters

SNMP protocol
1. First, the SNMP protocol should be installed on the computer. The specific operations are as follows)

Control Panel-Add/delete components-management and monitoring tools-Simple Network Management Protocol

 

2. After the installation is complete, you can see two services in the Service, which should be started.

1. SNMP Service 2. SNMP Trap Service

SNMP Service-> trap à group name: Public

-> Trap target: Local

-Check to Accept SNMP Packets from any host

 

2.2tools used for data collection (preferably using snmputilx.exe), I put it in c: \ SNMP

Get: used to obtain data under the node.

Walk: used to obtain data of all subnodes under the node. If no error is returned

Trap: used to obtain traps, such as network disconnection.
Command: snmputilx get 192.168.0.177 publi C. 1.2 . 6.1.2.1.1.5.0
Snmputilx: Use snmputilx.exe to collect data
Get: Get the data of a Single Node
192.168.0.177: address of the computer or ups you want to collect
Public: generally public, that is, open

. 1.2.6.1.2.1.1.5.0: indicates a node in the SNMP protocol.
