Solve the problem that tracker occupies a large amount of CPU in linux.
During the use of fedora, sometimes the CPU temperature will suddenly increase. Normally, the CPU temperature is 39 ~ About 45 degrees, and then run the top command under gnome-terminal. Several processes starting with tracker actually occupy nearly 100% of the CPU, no wonder the CPU temperature will suddenly rise to over 60 degrees.
As a result, I naturally thought of detaching the software. However, the fact is not that simple. if tracker software is uninstalled, many important software such as nautilus and totem will be uninstalled due to dependency.
Later, I googled myself. Many people have encountered this problem. The simplest and most direct method is to disable tracker. The specific method is as follows:
1. In gnome-terminal, enter 'gnome-session-properties' (not including single quotes), press enter, and the window shown in the pop-up window is displayed.
2. Find the Tracker storage and Tracker File System excavators and deselect the left-side hooks.
3. Run the 'tracker-control-S' command to check whether the command is running successfully.
