1. Open ms SQL Server Enterprise Manager, SqlServer group-management-database maintenance plan

-Right-click to create a maintenance plan, as shown in:

In the Enterprise Manager, find "manage"-"SQL Server proxy". If it is not started, right-click the red box instead of the green triangle and choose "start.

TIPS: In the SQL Server service manager-choose SQL Server Agent to start the service. On the "automatically start the service when the OS is started" check box, the SQL Server Agent starts automatically after the system restarts.
