Test Environment configuration for Windows Phone 8

The test environment and development environment of Windows Phone 8 are basically the same, but the test environment does not require development tools, so vs2012 does not need to be installed, and the rest is Win8 and wp sdk 8.0.

Hardware requirements:

When installing Win8, it is consistent with the establishment of the development environment. It must support virtualization and binary address addressing (slat). You can use software testing in advance. For details, refer to the previous article on building the development environment.

Deploy the application:

The suffix of the WP application is. xap. In WP8, you must use a dedicated tool to deploy the program to a simulator or a real machine. After installing wp sdk 8.0, you can find three sdk8.0 components in the Start Menu-all applications.

Application Deployment is a dedicated Deployment Tool and Windows Phone developer registration is a unlocking tool.

Open Application Deployment, select whether to deploy to the real device or various simulators, select the xap file, and click deploy.

Unlock mobile phone:

Windows Phone developer registration is used to unlock the mobile phone real machine for deployment and testing. After you open the tool software and connect to the mobile phone, the register button appears,

After you click "register", an input box is displayed. Enter the Microsoft ID and password. After the registration is completed, the unlock is successful.

After deploying xap to the simulator, you can open express 2012 to create a WP program, select the mobile phone version to be tested, select 7.1, and then click start to run the simulator, you can find the program you just deployed in the simulator to start the test.
