Perform the following steps only when the database does not reside in a trusted location or is not signed. Each time an untrusted or unsigned database is opened, Access will display the document operation column.
On the message bar, click options ".
In the "Microsoft Office Security Options" dialog box, click "enable this content", and then click "OK ".
If no message bar is displayed
On the "database tools" tab, click "message bar" in the "show/hide" group ".
When an update query is executed in Access 2007, "operation or event is blocked by disabled mode" appears ".
Select "message bar" in "database tools" and click "options ".
Select "enable this content" and click OK.
