The Eclipse environment configuration for CORBA development

Because of the recent development need to use Java and hardware interface data interaction, so decided to use the Eclipse tool to develop data interaction interface, the following is the development of Eclipse's relevant plug-in installation and configuration.


2 Orbstudio Plug-in configuration
2.1 File Downloads

Note: All products related to Openorb mentioned in the original text (take the OpenORB-1.4.0 version as an example), Openorb-1.4.0.zip,

Tools-1.4.0.zip,

Namingservice-1.4.0.zip,

Orbstudio777.zip,

where tools-1.4.0.zip, namingservice-1.4.0.zip need to download separately, need to continue to click on the download page to enter the tools and namingservice download page. The download address is attached here:

2.2 Plug-in configuration

1, decompression Orbstudio777.zip, after decompression orbstudio/plugins/orbstudio_7.7.7.jar copy the file to Eclipse/plugins or drops directory;

2, after the successful installation, open Window Preferences ... Click on the left ORB studio→idl Compiler.

Click on the left Orbstudio→idl compiler→javaidl to confirm the configuration command parameters on the right. The following figure:

3. IDL Command: Input IDLJ

Command Options: Enter-FALL-FALLTIE-TD%d%%f%

Click OK to save, so that you have completed the ECLIPSE+JAVAIDL configuration CORBA development environment all the process.

3 openorb Environment Configuration 3.1 File Downloads

First of all, we need to download Openorb related products from the website (take the OpenORB-1.4.0 version as an example), download Openorb-1.4.0.zip, Tools-1.4.0.zip, Namingservice-1.4.0.zip When all is unzipped, put it in the same directory (for example, C:\OpenORB, similar to the following directory structure:

| |____namingservice

| |____openorb

| |____tools

3.2 environment variable configuration

Configure environment variable: tcoo_home, add environment variable tcoo_home, value is openorb directory path, for example C:\OpenORB

3.3 Eclipse Configuration Openorb

Open Eclipse windowpreferences ... Click on the left ORB studio→idl Compiler and then select Openorb on the right.

Click on the left Orbstudio→idl Compiler→openorb, configure the command parameters on the right, as shown below:

IDL Command: Entering Java

Command Options: Enter

-xbootclasspath/p:%tcoo_home%/openorb/lib/endorsed/openorb_orb_omg-1.4.0.jar;-dopenorb.home.path=%tcoo_home%- Jar%tcoo_home%/tools/lib/launcher.jarorg.openorb.compiler.idlcompiler-d%d%%f%

Where tcoo_home is the environment variable configured above.
