The first Alpha version of ukirin 16.10 (Ubuntu Kylin) was released
On April 9, 16.10, the Ubuntu Kylin team announced the launch of the first Alpha version of The Yakkety Yak operating system. Currently, Ubuntu 16.10 is being developed. The first Alpha version of the available flavors has been released, namely Ubuntu MATE, Lubuntu, and Ubuntu Kylin. The Alpha of the first two has been released, and the latter is also officially unveiled today.
In a recent statement, "In this prerelease version, we fixed many bugs in internationalization and localization of the Ubuntu system, in addition, the excellent Qilin team also fixed the software write BUG. Similar to Ubuntu Kylin 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus), the first Alpha version of Yakkety 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) is based on the Linux 4.4 LTS kernel, in addition to BUG fixes and various upgrade packages, it does not bring too many new features. According to the road map, the system will be officially released on July 15, October 13 this year.
