I. problems
The following error occurs when you install opencms:
MySQL system variable 'max _ allowed_packet 'is set to 1048576 bytes (1 MB ).
Please note that it will not be possible for OpenCms to handle files bigger than this value in the VFS.
Error while checking the server configuration!
-------------------------------------------
Your 'max _ allowed_packet 'variable is set to less than 16777216 Byte (16 MB ).
The required value for running OpenCms is at least 16 MB. Please change your MySQL configuration (in the my. ini or my. cnf file ).
2. Solution
This problem occurs because the imported SQL file is greater than the default max_allowed_packet value. Solution: for example, in my. the cnf modification is added to: max_allowed_packet = 16 M # or higher. you can also add this parameter when mysqld is started, but this variable must be loaded and effective only when mysqld is restarted, so you must restart mysqld! I think the former is the best solution.
You can restart the mysql server. You can see that the operation is successful.
