The meaning of the file color under Linux
blue indicates the directory;
Green indicates executable file;
red indicates compressed files;
Light blue indicates a linked file;
Grey indicates other documents;
Flashing red indicates a problem with the linked file;
Yellow is the device file, including block, Char, FIFO.
Use Dircolors-p to see the default color settings, including various colors and "bold", underline, flashing and other definitions.
If you need to change the system default color, you can use the following method:
# vi/etc/dir_colors
Then in the file, find the items you want to modify, such as to change the directory color, you can change dir 01;34 to "dir 01;37;44", 37 is the font white, 44 is the word background blue.
Save exit when edit is complete
Then, execute
# eval ' dircolors/etc/dir_colors '
Note the ' symbol in the command is the one below the keyboard ~ symbol, don't get it wrong.
