For a variety of reasons, I have been trying to switch to Linux, but I have never been successful for a variety of reasons. Recently, for some reason, I have set off another upsurge in turning to Linux, in the past few days, the migration of big and small families has been completed. We can see that Fedora13 can be upgraded, and it is a wonderful place. I did not expect the trouble to come, and it took a long time to finally solve the problem. Considering that there is not much information on the Internet, this leaves footprints, hoping to help later people. Upgrade to Fedora13. There is no problem when it is started for the first time. We installed Wine on it without thinking about it for the second time.
For a variety of reasons, I have been trying to switch to Linux, but I have never been successful for a variety of reasons. Recently, for some reason, I have set off another upsurge in turning to Linux, in the past few days, the migration of big and small families has been basically completed. We can see that Fedora 13 can be upgraded, and the beauty of the location has arrived. I did not expect the trouble to come, and it took a long time to finally solve the problem. Considering that there is not much information on the Internet, this leaves footprints, hoping to help later people.
Upgrade to Fedora 13. There is no problem when it is started for the first time. We installed Wine. We didn't expect it to start again. The log in interface cannot be entered in the final stage of the loading interface, press esc to go to the command line interface, and the display is stuck in "registering binary handler for Windows application". It is considered as a Wine problem, therefore, press Ctrl + Alt + F6 to enter the command line and unmount Wine. I didn't expect it to be stuck in the second to last (what atd). I checked Xorg. log and messagers can't check the problem again. It's a big headache. Baidu and Google are working together to find the answer to the problem. The result is not completely matched. It seems that the main argument is the problem with the nv video card, but this is intel's integrated graphics card ...... At last, a Japanese on the fedora official website had the same symptoms as me, but his problem was not solved. So I used yum erase xorg * To uninstall and reinstall Xorg. the problem persists.
No way. I went on to Google and Baidu and found a post about GNOME five years ago. So I tried to input startx and turned on a desktop with only xclock, I guess there is something wrong with GNOME. However, GNOME involves too many components and does not dare to uninstall them. Later, I saw that North Korea had been abused by Portugal so many balls that I thought there was no better way. I gave gnome * To erase as soon as I bit my teeth, I deleted more than 200 components and installed more than 300 components, and then input startx. Hey, you can go in! But North Korea has been abused for 7 goals ...... There is also a small problem. The GUI cannot be normally started at startup. You have to switch to the command line and then manually start Tx. It is not difficult to solve this problem. Just install a running Domain Name System (IIS) agent. The problem is completely solved!
Conclusion: if this problem occurs and you are sure that it is not a video card problem, you can consider reinstalling GNOME and gmt1.
