According to the team, Droidifi will significantly improve the performance of the router, which can adjust the Wi-Fi signal frequency to achieve the best power output and coverage. It also supports a mesh network. Different routers can access the original router to form a distributed wireless network.

In addition, routers running Droidifi can enter the Droidifi app store, where other developers can upload their apps to enhance the vro. The firmware is free of charge, but the use of the app store requires users to spend $5 per quarter.

Droidifi is suitable for 802.11ac routers, including Cisco/Linksys EA6500, Netgear R6300, and ASUS RT-AC66U. More versions will be available in the future.

The router has no screens. What does Android mean? It doesn't matter. With the Droidifi upgrade, the router will assume that it has a screen and become an Android tablet, while the WWW webpage port is its screen, which is the same as the Android main screen. However, firmware upgrades do not mean changing the hardware of your vro, including GPS, Bluetooth, and microphone. Therefore, the vro cannot be transformed into a telephone.
