The success of Apple and some opinions on the Android platform

The Android platform is currently one of the most popular mobile open platforms. Many colleagues and friends around me seem to be very interested in this platform, there are also many people who say that android must be the trend of mobile device platforms in the future.

 

However, I am cautious about whether this "little robot" has such an influence.

 

A mobile device can succeed only when the operating system and hardware are combined. Even if the Android system is good, it is also a set of software, and it is difficult for consumers to choose the appropriate device based on the software, unless the software basically monopolized the market, such as Windows. Similarly, WP7 is also the same. On the contrary, Apple is the vendor that combines Software and Hardware. After all, it has its own operating system platform and, more importantly, its own hardware equipment. Whether you like Apple products or not, there will always be people waiting in the queue, and there will always be people competing for a device or even a fight.

In the end, a mobile device is still a device. Consumers not only need a platform, but also a carrier. Even better software, they still need something virtual.

 

Android has the advantages of software platform and configurability. It can be said that it is better than iOS and Symbian, but it is always a set of software platforms. Let's look at the carrier's products: lephone or sphone, the Design of devices is poor, which also limits the development of Android.

Google's ideas and ideas are correct. Android exists for customization and openness also gives great vigor to this platform. Android is an excellent and powerful software platform, but it is defeated. It is "only" a software platform, and more than a dozen equipment vendors use it for device articles, but they all have their own customization, chaos, no system, and those devices do not look very good.

The market comes from demand, but the demand is not completely controlled by consumers. equipment manufacturers and operators also have the responsibility to explore and even "CREATE" the demand.

 

Android is a big cake, but when there are more people, it will become smaller. IOS is the only one in the market, so Apple's market value has reached the second place in the world. When can a home or several device manufacturers better combine Android and hardware devices? At least the hardware design level is no worse than Apple, then android may become the boss, however, at present, it is far from true. Some people say that "jobs is the greatest product manager in the world". I don't worship him, but at present, he has the ability to control products, he does do much better than those of lephone and sphone designers.

 

There is a joke: if Apple devices support Android, Android will soon become popular.

 

Android is such an embarrassing platform. The software is very good, but the hardware is messy. We have everything we can do with customization, and even the cottage can also be Android. Do you want consumers to buy your account?

 

It doesn't mean that iOS and app store are good. In fact, it is actually better than Android, and it is also true for developers. Apple's closure determines that its sales model is single. The software can only be purchased by the App Store, and the upload must pass the apple function. The old saying goes, the software is good, and there is no device or virtual, because there are not many consumers who know the software, but there are many people who like to play with the equipment.

 

Now Nokia wants to use meego to copy Apple. Unfortunately, it has slowed down several steps... in the IT field, it is very important to be preemptible, but there are only a few examples of anti-customer master.

 

Maybe my expectation for Android is too high. Maybe Google didn't want to make Android a historic product, but "just" is one of many products. But if so, is it Google?
