Three ways to install the plugin in eclipse

The plugins and features folders in the downloaded plug-in file are directly heroes to the plugins and features folders in Eclipse.

Method Three: Links installation method

Here's an example of how to install the Eclipse plug-in using links to RSE. Assume that the installation path for Eclipse is:

D:\Program Files\eclipse

1. Create a new folder in the Eclipse installation directory links

2. Create a new Rse folder in the links directory with a RSE.txt file

D:\Program Files\eclipse\links\rse

RSE.txt is the configuration file for the RSE plugin, specifying where the RSE plugin is located:

Path = D:/program Files/eclipse/links/rse

The RSE folder is used to store the RSE plugin, and its plugin directory structure is:

D:\Program Files\eclipse\links\rse\eclipse\features
D:\Program Files\eclipse\links\rse\eclipse\plugins

That is, the Links.txt configuration file specifies that the RSE plug-in directory is D:\Program Files\eclipse\links\rse, and when Eclipse starts, it looks for D:\Program files\eclipse\links\ RSE Directory Eclipse\features and Eclipse\plugins whether there is a plug-in file. Here, the links way to install the plugin is complete, start eclipse can use the RSE plug-in.
