1. power the camera on

Use the power adapter to power the wireless network Camera when the system light is red and long lit. Wait for the camera led to turn red and green alternately flashing, while confirming the wireless name and password of the router to facilitate subsequent operation.

Note : If you need to implement remote monitoring, make sure that your router has successfully connected to the network.

2. login tp-link security APP

Open the Phone app and enter the registered Tp-link ID account and password. If there is no Tp-link ID, please click "Create Account", sign up and login again.

Attention: You can also use local mode to log in and implement monitoring on the same LAN.

3. Mobile APP add wireless Network Camera

After entering the app, click "+" in the preview screen to add the channel and click "+" again to add the device:

Android app can automatically search the surrounding camera signals, wait for the interface to refresh the list, find the wireless camera Wi-Fi signal (you can check the camera shell sticker on the MAC address to confirm), click "Add":

Note : If there is no Wi-Fi signal for the camera in the list, please press the camera reset button for about 3 seconds and wait for the camera to complete reboot before attempting to add the device.

4. mobile phone connection to the camera's Wi-Fi signal

When you add a camcorder, click "Connect Wi-Fi" on the screen, and the app will automatically connect the phone to your camcorder's Wi-Fi signal:

5. connect the camera to the router's Wi- fi signal

When the phone is connected to the camera's Wi-Fi, the interface prompts to connect the camera to the router's Wi-Fi. Select the wireless signal for the router (take Zhangsan as an example) and enter the wireless password and click "OK":

6. add camera, complete configuration

Interface prompts the camera is connecting Wi-Fi, wait for about 10 seconds, the interface prompts the camera to successfully connect Wi-Fi. Click "Add" to wait for the app to add the camera:

After the addition of success, app automatically returns to the Selection channel interface, click on the added camera, you can in the preview interface Real-time watch the monitor screen:

Q1 : Can you set up a wireless network Camera with your computer?

Factory state, wireless network cameras can only be set through the mobile phone app. Wireless network cameras must be connected to the router Wi-Fi before they can be managed via the computer web.

Q2 : Does the wireless network Camera support wired?

Not supported. Wireless network cameras do not have an Ethernet port and can only be connected wirelessly.

Press and hold the reset key for about 3 seconds, indicating that the factory settings are being restored when the LED changes to a red flash. Reconfiguration is required after the factory is restored.

If the mobile phone app uses Tp-link ID to log in, the camera will not be connected to the Internet router Wi-Fi, the camera can not bind the Tp-link ID, resulting in failure to add. You can add a camcorder again after you log in to the app using local mode.
