Connect to Linux Through VNC in Window
Enable the VNC service in Linux: service vncserver start
Run the "vncserver" command. Note the identity of the command. If it is ROOT, the. vnc/directory is generated under root to generate the log pid and xstartup files.
Otherwise, it is generated in the user directory. The password for the remote connection will be prompted for the first time.
Note the number of the Remote Desktop that is enabled. When using the VNC Viewer to connect, enter the password in the form of "IP: Number. The default VNC desktop environment is twm.
Modify the last line of the xstartup file and set the desktop environment according to the personal system.
GNOME Desktop: changed to gnome-session &
KDE Desktop: change to startkde &
After the modification, restart the vncserver service and run the vncserver command again to generate a remote connection listening process to view the process of the VNC service. service vncserver status
Note: After modification, run the vncserver command to generate a new virtual page port.
Some vnc-viwer software does not need IP Address: serial number, but is in the form of IP and port number. The default VNC port number is 5901, and port 5901 is occupied by number 1, 2 occupies 5902, and so on.
