Using VSS in Eclipse

Installing Plug-ins

1. Download the free org.vssplugin_1.4.1-2.0-compability.zip to the local directory to the website;

2. Will org.vssplugin_1.4.1-2.0-compability.zip decompression;

3. Copy the resulting org.vssplugin_1.4.1 folder to the Eclipse_path\plugins (Eclipse_path is the installation path for ECLIPSE);

4. Restart Eclipse;

5. Help->about Eclipse platform->plug-in Details, confirm plug-in success;

6. Window->customize perspective ..., in the dialog box Window->show view and other to the VSS-related options to the hook.

New program

1. The tool generates good source files to build a working path, the entire work path copy to the corresponding location of the server;

2. Open Eclipse->file->new->project ..., select the work path of this program on the server to establish a new project;

3. Right key point Select Project->team->share ... ；

4. Select VSS Configuration Wizard, click Next;

5. User name and password enter your username and password;

6. In the case of ensuring that your computer can log on to the server without entering a password, enter directly or click Browse ..., select the VSS database directory;

7. Open the VSS client and create a folder of its own subproject name below the total directory;

8. realative Mountpoint Select the folder you just built in VSS, click OK;

9. The bottom of the multiple selection box hook hit, point finish;

10. Right-click to select Engineering->team->add to VSS, enter the appropriate annotation after OK;

11. This can be done in the team to perform the corresponding check-in, check-out operation.

Open an existing project

1. Open Eclipse->file->new->project ..., select the work path of this program on the server to establish a new project;

2. Right key point Select Project->team->share ... ；

3. Select VSS Configuration Wizard, click Next;

Open the project after the reboot

Ensure that the local computer can be recorded on the server without entering a password;

Open Eclipse, right key engineering->open project;

Right-click to select Engineering->team->share project ....
