These terms refer to the screen resolution.
VGA: video graphics array: displays the drawing matrix, which is equivalent to 640x480 pixels;
Hvga: half-size VGA, that is, half of VGA, with a resolution of 480x320. This resolution is used like Samsung's ace s5830;
Qvga: Quarter VGA, that is, 1/4 of VGA, with a resolution of 320 × 240. This resolution is generally used for small-screen mobile phones like Samsung gaishi mini s5570;
Wqvga: wide quarter VGA, that is, expanded qvga. The resolution is higher than qvga and lower than VGA. Generally, the resolution is 400 × 240,480 × 272;
WVGA: wide video graphics array, that is, expanded VGA with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, which is used by Samsung i9000;
