Vim configuration file

Source: Internet
Author: User

Background:

By default, the tab of VIM is indented with 8 spaces. Because I used to use 4 spaces, set tabstop = 4 every time I enter vim, which is too troublesome. So I searched for any solutions. You can modify the vim configuration file once and for all.

Method:

Here, the vimrc file of the user I modified is stored in $ home/. You can also enter echo $ home in VIM to find the specific directory.

Cd ~Vim. vimrc
Set tabstop =4
