Computer Science focuses on the study of hardware and computer theory, studies the science of computer and its surrounding phenomena and laws, studies the structure of computer systems, program systems (i.e. software), artificial intelligence, and the nature and problems of computing itself. Computer science is a system discipline that encompasses a wide variety of topics related to computing and information processing, from abstract algorithmic analysis, formal grammar, to more specific topics such as programming languages, program design, software, and hardware.
Equivalent to the bias in engineering, is to study and solve the problem of the science of algorithms.
Software engineering involves programming languages, databases, software development tools, system platforms, standards, design patterns, and so on. The framework of software engineering can be summed up as: objectives, processes and principles. Software engineering is mainly concerned with the technology and methods of software project management. The main problem with programming and the attendant interaction of computer components is a branch that is divided in computer science.
