Our website is a zencart e-commerce website.
All files on the website are encoded in UTF-8 without bom.
When the website enters data, run SQL: "set names utf8"
All data tables in the database are in utf8 format.
However, some foreign users register or edit information on our website, and garbled characters may occur when entering the database. This may happen at around 5%. Why is garbled? How can this problem be solved?

During his browsing, the browser's webpage encoding may not be utf8, or it may be translated before browsing. You can use javascript to obtain the client code.

Two solutions:
1. when ajax is submitted, it is encoded using the + encodeURIComponent method.
2. the php end can check whether the submitted code is UTF-8 encoded.
