For work or other reasons, many people have set up a small local area network in their homes and offices so that we can share the printer. Only one printer can be used to meet all computer sharing.
The most popular computer operating system now is Microsoft's Windows system and Apple's OS X system. Apple Mac OS X more than 10.3 systems that support and use Windows system computers to share a printer. First we set up the network and then make sure that the printer and computer are connected to the local area network respectively. I. Computer settings for the Win7 operating system
1. Click the Start button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the control Panel from the pop-up list.
3. Select "Programs and Features".
4. Click Turn on or off the Windows feature.

Two. Computer settings for MAC OS X OS
1. Start the application.
2. Select Utility.
3. Select the printer setup tool.
4. Hold down the OPTION key and click the "More Printers" button.
5. Select Advanced from the top menu.
6. In the LPD/LPR host protocol, select the device address for the printer.
7. In the URL dialog box, enter://pcname/printersharename, that is, the printer's device address.
8. Click the "Add" button.
By doing so, you can implement printer network sharing under WIN7 and OS X operating systems.
