Wine on Ubuntu Linux, and Source Insight Green Edition installation

1. Install some necessary components

Winetricks MSXML3 gdiplus riched20 riched30 vcrun6 vcrun2005sp1  Wenquanyi

2. Copy Fonts

Download fonts in the network, unzip, move to ~/.wine/dosdevices/c:/windows/fonts directory

CP fonts/* ~/.wine/dosdevices/c:/windows/fonts

3. Modify the Registration Form

Wine regedit

Open the Wine registration form:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Nt\currentversion\fontsubstitutes]:

Modify the following items without creating a new string:

Microsoft yahei=msyhms Shell Dlg=simsunms Shell Dlg2=simsuntms Rmn=simsunsimhei=simhei


For the source Insight Green version, because the 3.5 version of SI has a bug, so can not change the font and size, if you download a patched Si, you can follow the steps to let the patched Si run up
1, for source Insight Green Edition, first use

$ wine regedit green. reg

Import its registry entries into the registry

$ wine ~/.wine/drive_c/program\ Files/sourceinsight-v3. 5.0064/insight3.exe &

Run the original version of SI first

$ wine ~/.wine/drive_c/program\ Files/sourceinsight-v3. 5.0064/insight3_en.exe &

Then run the version that can modify the font

4. Modify fonts in: Options--Document type

5, if you want to modify the Stype properties, you need to preferences the syntax Formatting tab in Options-----only color formatting< /c3> uncheck
