We are constantly learning from http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/7155.html > Developers that today's JavaScript standards lack some basic objects and library helpers, These are essential for building rich Web applications around the world. Last year, we shared a reference implementation of the new emergence proposal for JavaScript-oriented internationalization APIs. The API introduces support for numeric formatting, date and time formatting, and collation and string comparisons that are affected by locale settings. Considering this limitation will fundamentally make it impossible for developers to write applications on the standard WEB platform in an interoperable manner for the global common site, including Amazon, Google, Mozilla and Microsoft, and so on, to collaborate across the team to complete ECMAScript 6 Draft specification before completing the draft specification. A few weeks ago, the standards Committee held a meeting on the computer science department at Northeastern University campus and completed the proposed API. We have updated the reference implementation to conform to the requirements of the draft specification.

We also published a demo to illustrate the use of the API to visualize foreign currency exchange. This is a common Web scenario that must be written using Plug-ins, browser extensions, or through interaction with the server. Play the demo and open the JavaScript console to interact with the API and give us feedback.

Use the internationalization API to chart the history of foreign currency exchange

When you look at Google finance, Yahoo Finance, FXCM, Forxcharts, and other forex sites, you'll find the same pattern: they all use plug-ins, extensions, or structures that require server-round interaction to achieve their user experience. Because these sites need to set currency formats based on specific locale settings and use locale-specific string comparisons to sort strings in a way that is similar to stock code, the functionality of today's web platforms is somewhat lagging.
