Text Editor (MOUSEPAD): Click Application (Creator)/attachment/mousepad to open. The input gedit command can also be opened. Gksu Tool: Graphical instant user Privilege Promotion tool, keyboard shortcuts alt+f2 The call Out Run dialog box, enter Gksu to open the Gksu tool.

Configuring official Software sources
1. Click on the menu bar to enter the application/System/software source (Application/system/software Sources), enter the user password and click the "OK" button. Enter the software Sources (software Source) dialog box. 2. Click the list box to the right of Download from to select Other ... (Other ...) " Enter the Select Download server (Choose a Download Server) dialog box. Pull the left scroll bar, select any of the following servers to click the Select Server (Choose Server) button and then click Close.
You can also click the Select Best Server button in the Select Download server (Choose a Download Server) dialog to let Xubuntu test you and select the fastest server in the server list
Configuring a Third-party software source
1. Enter the application/System/software source (application/system/software Sources), switch to the third party software (third-party Software) page in the software source (Software Sources) dialog box, Click Add. 2. In the input box paste apt format line, our source list for you to provide a lot of apt format lines. Locate the source you want from the source list, copy and paste it into the input box, and note that you can only copy a single line of apt format at a time, and then click Add to save each row when it is finished. 3. When all is done, click Close (OFF), the software source (Software Sources) will automatically prompt to update the software library, and click Reload (Reload) update. 4. The command line to update the software source is as follows:
sudo apt update
You can also create a new sources.list file, copy the source of the software you need, then right-click on the Sources.list file, select (with "software Source"), click "Replace" in the pop-up dialog box, click "Close", and click "Reload" in the dialog box that appears.
