How to deploy:
1. The WAN port of the equipment is connected with the WAN access line, which supports fiber, ADSL, Cable modem or DDN router;
2.NM LAN port is connected with the LAN switch;
3. Intranet PC will point the gateway to NM LAN interface, through NM agent Internet.
Network Bridge mode
Transparent bridge mode, like the role of the hub, the device is placed in the gateway exit, set simple, transparent, suitable for customers do not want to change the network architecture. All functions of this mode device are valid, including firewall, NAT, routing, flow control/bandwidth management, Internet behavior management, content filtering, user access control, data center, Statistic report, Security extension function, Application layer VPN, remote centralized access, etc. In this mode, can provide up to 4 pairs (quad operated) transparent bridge access, support bridge load balancing, full core Exchange VLAN subnet isolation. Supports IP/MAC binding across three tiers. The access to the single bridge is shown below:
How to deploy:
1. The WAN port of the device is connected with the LAN port of the gateway device (front-end firewall or router), and a bridge IP is assigned to NM, and the LAN port IP of the IP and gateway device is in the same network segment;
2.LAN Port is connected with the core switch;
3. No network devices or PCs in the LAN need to change the IP address.
Multi-Network Bridge mode
In the case of customers with multiple VLANs, or core Exchange hot standby, the device can provide up to 4 pairs (quad operated) transparent bridge access, support bridge load balancing, monitor the core exchange of multiple VLAN subnet traffic. and supports IP/MAC binding across three tiers. How to deploy:
1, enter NM Configuration interface WAN settings, define two pairs of bridge interface (WAN1/ETH0-LAN1/ETH1,WAN2/ETH2-LAN2/ETH3);
2. Assign an IP address to each bridge.
