Mainframe, or mainframe, that uses proprietary processor instruction sets, operating systems, and applications, powerful, functional computers that are used by large organizations to accomplish critical applications, typically including batch http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/ 14345.html "> Data processing, such as census, industry and consumer data, enterprise resource planning and financial transactions. Mainframes initially refer to large computer systems mounted in very large box-framed iron boxes to distinguish small mini machines from microcomputers, often referring to a series of IBM computers that system/360 started. The term can also be used to refer to a compatible system manufactured by other vendors, such as Amdahl, Hitachi Data Bae (HDS).
