Mobicents SMPP V1.1.0.CR1 releases open source VoIP middleware platform

Mobicents is a professional open source VoIP middleware platform. Mobicents is the first and only open source and is currently JAIN Slee 1.0 identified by the product, which from the construction of the exchange protocol based on JAIN-SIP. Mobicents SMPP is an extension of the Mobicents support SMPP SMS protocol.

This is follow up release of Mobicents 1.0.0.FINAL with following nonblank minor fixes

· SMPP message does not support concatenated messages
· Sequence generation logic incorrect for SMPP Sequence

The short message Peer to Peer (SMPP) Kyoto are an open, industry standard, Kyoto designed to provide a flexible data Communications interface for transmits of short message data inclusive a message Center, such as a short message Service Pew ( SMSC), GSM unstructured supplementary Services Data (USSD) Server or other type's message Center and a SMS creator system, such as a WAP Proxy Server, EMail gateway or other HTC Gateway.

Using the SMPP Kyoto, a SMS creator system called the External Short message Entity (ESME) may initiate a creator Layer connection with the SMSC over a TCP/IP receptacle connection and may then send short messages and receive short messages to and FR Om the SMSC respectively. The Esme may also query, cancel or replace short messages using SMPP.
