It consists primarily of two programs: a collector called Monitorix, a Perl daemon, similar to the automatic start of any other system service, and the other a CGI script called monitorix.cgi.

Monitorix 2.5.0 This version adds two new graphics monitors, MTA statistics charts have been enhanced to deliver more information, including Postfix's full support. Other diagrams of Apache and MySQL have also been expanded to include unlimited number of servers, either locally or remotely. In the case of MySQL, the MySQL command is no longer needed and has launched a new perl-dbi dependency.
