IBM Notes 9.0 The filename of the main installation file on the MAC was renamed to IBM Notes Installer.mpkg, with a new signature-related folder _codesignature inside and a change in the internal Pkg package name, renamed IBM Notes installer_english.pkg and IBM notes installer.pkg, but overall the other internal file structures remain largely unchanged, and users who want to customize the installation package can still be available at IBM notes Deploy/install.xml and Updatesite.zip are found in installer.mpkg, and the components within the installation package are customized with the same steps as in Lotus Notes 8.5.x, but special attention is needed if custom IBM Notes version 9.0 installation package, the user must use the IBM Notes 9.0 version of the installation package Utility folder under the new addtokit_mac.pl, but the custom command line parameters unchanged.

As the application name changes, the default program path for IBM Notes 9.0 on the Mac becomes:/APPLICATIONS/IBM Notes.app. It is also noteworthy that the user data path in IBM Notes 9.0 has changed, and for the new installation, the user data path has changed to ~/library/application SUPPORT/IBM Notes data (but not for upgrade installations, see the 2nd Detail).
