1.4.1 Graphical Login

Logging in from the graphical login interface automatically launches the KDE desktop environment.

If you set up a graphical login system (how to set up graphics to log in, refer to section 1.5.2: Run level), the graphical login interface shown in the following illustration appears when the system finishes booting and testing.

Login window

Enter the correct login username and password in the dialog box shown in the previous illustration, and click the login button. The system will start the KDE desktop environment, and this process may take several seconds.

Root is called Superuser and has unrestricted power on the system. It is therefore recommended that users: unless configured and http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/30785.html "> admin work, do not normally use the root account in daily work."

To add and manage user accounts in a graphical environment, you can use the Rfuser tool. Refer to Section 3.4.12 of this chapter: Users and groups, creating a common user account that uses the system.

1.4.2 End of work

Click the Main Menu button on the Panel, or use the shortcut key <ALT+F1> Open the System main menu, select the logout item, and

You can press the logout icon to the right of the panel below. The screen displays the dialog box shown in the following illustration, and the background color darkens, requiring the user to confirm how to end the operation.

Exit KDE

If you perform a logoff operation without a save, all unsaved data is lost.

If you cannot exit the system by using the method described above, you can press the <Ctrl+Alt+Backspace> key at the same time, the system closes the desktop window immediately, but note that you must ensure that you have saved all of your work.
