Use Windows XP printer to print in Ubuntu

Before setting http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13835.html ">ubuntu, make sure that the printers on Windows XP are installed and shared.

Add a printer to Ubuntu,

Access the system-> system to manage the-> printer and open the new printer icon.

Select a network printer and a Windows printer (SMB)

The computer name or IP address of a Windows XP computer is filled in at the host.

The printer's share name is filled in at the printers.

User name fill in guest

Test it!

If you are not working on an XP computer:

Access Control Panel-> printers and Faxes

Right-click the printer-> properties-> port/port tab

Do not select Enable bidirectional support
